Fli-Fi’s event connect service was built to span all 4 floors of the Old Collins Music Hall, as well as an underground car park where the production team were based.
Connectivity to the internet was achieved by 4G routers on the ground floor, and the service was distributed from there throughout the site.
Networks for payments, production and guests were separated to ensure priority service for payments and the production team.
On-site installation was carried out by Fli-Fi engineers prior to the event, with testing and commissioning included, to ensure a smooth go-live.
Our event connect service supported all three networks across the site with uninterrupted, reliable service for the duration of the event. Payments could be taken without failure and guests could post about the event on social media, heightening brand awareness. The production team was able to enjoy a stress-free experience and focus on the event experience, looking after their client and guests rather, than worrying about the connectivity.
